Vladislav V. Fomin is Professor and Head of Department of Applied Informatics and the Faculty of Informatics, VMU. His current research interests include studies of design and implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Systems (IS) in organizations, studies of ICT policy, ICT infrastructure development, technology standardization process, among other. Vladislav has over 80 scientific publications in journals, conferences, and as book chapters, including Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Inter-national Journal of IT Standards & Standardization Research, Telecommunications Policy, Knowledge, Technology & Policy. Conference publications and presentations include The International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), European Conference on Infor-mation Systems (ECIS), Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), Academy of Management (AOM), and other. Prior to joining VMU, Vladislav held positions in University of Jyväskylä, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Copenhagen Business School, Delft University of Technology, Montpellier Business School, Rotterdam School of Management. Currently V.Fomin is also holding Visiting Professor positions at Faculty of Computing of University of Latvia and La Rochelle Business School in France.
