Vilma Žydžiūnaitė, MA in Education from Vytautas Magnus University (2000), Ph.D. in Education from Kaunas University of Technology (2003), MA in Nursing from Karlskrona Institute of Technology, Sweden (2005), Ph.D. in Nursing from Tampere University, Finland (2015). She is full professor of Education at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, and full professor of Nursing at Klaipėda State University of Applied Sciences, Klaipėda, Lithuania. Furthermore, she is a Chair of the Academic Council at St. Ignatius Loyola College, Kaunas, Lithuania. She had published 150 research papers in international and national scientific editions; 6 monographs; 8 research studies; 1 textbook for higher education school; 19 study handbooks. From 1999 till now she delivered over 100 presentations in international conferences in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and in national conferences and workshops. Vilma is a Member of Editorial Committees of 7 research journals, Editor-in-Chief of 2 research journals. Her research interest in ethics is related to the triangle between decision-making, leadership and ethical dilemmas.
